Grandma's earring, reimagined
Some of our favorite work starts with something already loved. A grandmother's earring, a chipped diamond, a pair of hoop earrings: we keep what matters and redesign the rest, so it can be worn every day and passed down again.

The Designer
Madhu Choudhary
Madhu Choudhary is the owner and designer behind Choudhary Jewels. Every piece is custom, built around the client’s story, whether that’s a first engagement ring, a push present, a milestone celebration, or a family heirloom given new life. She also redesigns existing pieces into something new, and creates stacking pieces, teen jewelry and astrology rings. Choudhary Jewels also offers jewelry appraisals and buys gold. Have old or unused gold jewelry? Its gold value can be applied as payment toward a new design or redesign.

What to Expect
Step 1: Appointment Confirmed
We reply to your request to confirm your appointment.
Step 2: Design Consultation
Meet with us in person to talk through every detail of your piece.
Step 3: Design Preview (if needed)
A follow-up appointment to review the final design before you confirm.
Step 4: Confirm with Deposit
Your design is finalized and confirmed with a deposit.
Step 5: Made Right Here
Everything is made right here in Chicago. Most pieces are completed in about 10 days from the date your design is confirmed. Timing can vary with design and stone availability.
